Traveletta ("Traveletta", "we", "us", or "our") helps you turn travel captions and source links into places you can review and save. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information You Provide

When you use Traveletta, you may provide:

• Captions, notes, or other text you paste into the app.
• Source URLs you ask Traveletta to process.
• Support messages or other communications you send us.

Saved places are stored locally on your device unless a future version clearly says otherwise.

App, Device, and Security Information

We may collect app and device information needed to operate and protect the service, such as:

• App version, build number, platform, and basic device/runtime information.
• Anonymous app-session identifiers used to protect backend requests.
• App integrity signals used to help verify that requests come from a genuine app installation.
• Technical logs related to errors, reliability, abuse prevention, and service security.

Subscription and Purchase Information

If you start a trial, purchase, renew, cancel, or restore Traveletta Pro, subscription information is processed by Apple and by our subscription provider, RevenueCat. We may receive subscription status, product identifiers, entitlement state, renewal state, and related customer identifiers needed to unlock Traveletta Pro and prevent abuse. We do not receive your full Apple payment card details.

How We Use Information

We use information to:

• Extract travel places from captions and source links.
• Show, manage, and save extracted places in the app.
• Provide anonymous preview access and Traveletta Pro subscription access.
• Validate purchases, restore purchases, and sync entitlement status.
• Protect the service from abuse, fraud, automated misuse, and unauthorized requests.
• Maintain reliability, troubleshoot errors, and improve the app.
• Respond to support requests and communicate important service information.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

Service Providers and Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your information for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.

We may share information with service providers that help us operate Traveletta, including:

• Backend hosting and infrastructure providers.
• Extraction and source-processing providers used to identify travel places.
• Firebase services used for anonymous app identity and app integrity checks.
• RevenueCat, used to manage subscription status and entitlements.
• Apple, which processes App Store purchases, subscriptions, refunds, and payment information.
• Support, security, analytics, or logging providers if we use them to operate the service.

These providers may process information only as needed to provide their services to us, subject to their own terms and privacy practices.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the rights and safety of users or others, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.

Retention

We keep information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including providing the service, maintaining security, resolving disputes, complying with legal obligations, and enforcing agreements.

Content you submit for extraction may be retained by our backend and service providers for the time needed to process requests, maintain reliability, prevent abuse, and improve extraction quality. Local saved places remain on your device unless you delete them or remove the app.

Your Choices

You can:

• Delete saved places in the app.
• Stop submitting captions or source URLs at any time.
• Manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple account settings.
• Contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of personal information, subject to legal and technical limits.

Some information may be needed to provide Traveletta. If we cannot process required information, parts of the app may not work.

International Processing

We and our service providers may process information in countries other than where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

Children's Privacy

Traveletta is not intended for children under 13, or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us so we can take appropriate action.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
